What we store

Monarch Tracker stores the sightings you log: date, place, count, life stage, behavior, notes and any photo you attach. If you create an account, we store your email address and password so you can sign in. You can edit or delete your own sightings at any time.

Nothing you log is sent to outside organizations automatically. Public records stay in your own app database; private journal entries are visible only to you.

Cookies and advertising measurement

Monarch Tracker uses Google Ads to tell people about the app, and cookies from Google Ads measure whether an ad visit leads to a sighting being logged (measurement and ad optimization). Visitors in regions that require consent see a cookie banner before measurement begins, and can decline at any time.
